So inspiring. And it is so nice to hear about good things.

Have not watched it all yet, but the young man who won the Princes Trust award was truly inspiring. Made himself a job and a worthwhile life, when it would have been easier to slide down an abyss. :-D

As always it was a moving and inspiring show, there are many people doing good in this funny old world of ours, and it's great that some of them are recognised and rewarded for their acts of bravery and kindness. It was moving to see so many celebrities with tears in their eyes as they watched the stories unfold.

I decided on a tissue-filled evening - I've got a chest infection and runny nose anyway - so I watched the first hour, turned over for DIY SOS, and am now watching the second half on ITV + 1. :-D

the lollipop lady from a village not far from here is up for an award - she threw herself in front of a car when it went out of control as she was ushering shcoolchildren across the road to school
