We have just returned from a Monarch flight. 1 suitcase 20kg 1 hand luggage plus handbag with combined weight of 10kg per person.

There is usually a weight limit as well.

They all differ but according to the Aer Lingus website
All carry-on must be within the size
dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 24cm
In addition you may choose to
carry-on one of the following
which must be placed under the
seat in front:


- Small ladies handbag or duty free bag......
so you can keep your handbag out

Hi, I will soon be flying from Heathrow to Cork City with Aer Lingus in few weeks for a few days. (not flown for many years) When they say hand luggage, can this be my very small case AND my handbag? or do I have to put my handbag in the small case? Thanks for any advice
