whilst browsing on youtube, is that Linda Ronstadt can not now sing due to Parkinsons.

This is one of my favourites,

One of my favourite singers since I was very young.

Mum had a single by the Stone Poneys featuring Linda Ronstadt....after many years I found it on a CD of hers

I sung it once at a karaoke never seen it at any other

After the Stone Poneys Linda went solo. I think her first big hit LP was "Mad Love". The oldest I have is "Silk Purse"

My lot traveled all over the place including myself.
Way back I moved from Rochester New York State to California and will always have a soft spot for this song

Her current problems go back a few years but she is ok, just not doing live performances any more. I was lucky enough to see her live in Denver. Wonderful wonderful lady.

The iPad doesn't do Flash out of the box. Same with all Apple products.

Blame Steve Jobs

Last I heard MS new Windows Phone OS could not run YouTube either, the reason being obscure corners of HTML5 compliance (not).

Here is a good explanation of what is going on. Apple likes H264.
Sorry it's a bit geeky.

Fwiw in computing closed systems have always lost out in the end to open systems. The latest zombie closed system is Blackberry.
