They need to be strained at least twice as I recall. So it took the best part of three days to make something that didn't taste much cop anyway. |

Seem to remember my gran used to cook the rosehips then strain them through muslin to get all the pippy bits out. |

Fred and his mate brought me in a bag of rose-hips. These, as I am sure you know, are full of little hairy pips that you need to remove very carefully if you cook them or you have a terribly itchy botty! |
