I have to say thank you to all on the board's,

it has been a pleasure to follow the board's again after a break because of all the on line argument's,
I hope this continue's as it is now nice to participate ( if I choose to ) without wondering if I would get dragged into thing's going on.
i hope this will continue for good now as I missed the board's.

hope everyone feel's the same as me,

sue

Yes, I agree with you Sue.

It's good just to read through the different threads and add personal comments that will bring interest or help to support other G.R. members.

I had a special friend who sadly has died with Cancer. She always told me that
"it's nice, to be nice" and I can't argue with her sentiments.

I love a good barney sometimes. So do quite a few others.

But I am sure it can get upsetting. I have felt very upset at times, and I might be one of those scrapping.

Everybody is right, everybody wants the last word. And, just sometimes, we are wrong and it is advisable not to have the last word.

I am glad you have come back on the boards, Sue, because I have noticed in recent days we desperately need some of the folk who have left the chat threads to come back. The daily thread by Mersey is very popular, but other threads seem to scarcely get a post :-(

As you say Sue it is lovely on the boards....WE ALL that participate and those of old and new should come together and enjoy..........

We all have different tastes in posts and threads and its great to see !!!

We may not be all the same and have the same interests or humour but when it comes to a Chat Board thats what it is all about......

Its not a popularity contest or a competition but it is a place to enjoy whatever or whoever you are .....we are all different and the boards are here to be enjoyed :-D :-D :-D

I too love it when it's peaceful on here and sometimes think that some nasty threads should just be ignored to die off on their own.

It's quite pleasant at the moment.

I suspect in the past that Genes reviews of reported posts have been hit and miss, and many do not seem to trust process and want to have their own system. But reviews seem a lot fairer now.

So why, every single time a "rude" joke or any post is reported do we have to have a long and destructive post mortem? If report is upheld, fine. If report is not upheld, fine. Either way reporters and those who have been reported will get an opinion that is not biased.

Edit. I agree with TS and was not thinking specifically of reports I have made this weekend. It happens every weekend, whoever reports, that we have a post mortem.

Apart from that one thread, all the other threads on first two pages at least seem very pleasant and easy to add to.
