It would have to be a 15 mile carry so he could easily combine the two.

Grass skirt, Hawaiii 5 0 type shirt, flip flops, the lot, he looks the bees knees he does, taken 20 years off him, this holiday has.

Only thing is, he's going to bed at 5 a.m most days, he's always at a party, and gets up at 10.00a.m, he's a little tired by 3 O'clock so is having half an hour nap, which messes up his 15 mile walk he likes to have, still as I said to him, do the walk after your nap, which seems to be working out fine :-D

Wouldn't he just love that!

You haven't got him in a grass skirt have you?

We have all he needs here Sharron, he doesn't need a wheelchair, he gets carried everywhere, as for the rest, we don't bother with all that, if he has an "accident" it's so hot here, it's dried in minutes.

Fred said, you keep the pension, and have a spend up with it :-D

And the wheelchair, hoist, incontinence pads, leg bags, catheters. I'll tell you what. You keep him eh?

I'll just look after the pension.

Sharron, Fred said can you send him some jam please, we don't sell jam, or make it on our Caribbean Island.

By the way, Fred is having the time of his life here, all the locals love him, and want to know if they can keep him, I said you wouldn't let them keep him, as you'd have nothing to do all day, if he stayed here. I will be bringing him back Thursday week, will chuck him out of the plane, with a parachute of course, as we fly over your house, be ready to catch him won't you?

Fred sends his love :-D

Great minds :-)

I did think of bread and butter pudding, but was concerned that the berries might burn. Another ideas was a sponge pudding with them in the bottom of the bowl, but that's too much like hard work.

There is now a blackbery and apple summer pudding maturing for tomorrow. Hedgerow blackberries but supermarket apples :-D

I have bottled a couple of pounds of jam made from some green things out of the hedge. I think they might be wild greengages.

There are some more in a bottle with brandy. There are some slows macerating in gin in another jar.

Now the blackberries are coming home. There will be jelly, maybe some liqueur, certainly at least one summer pudding before the freezer starts being filled.

Today I had a bit of inspiration. I was thinking about doing a summer pudding but that needs a day to happen so I made a bread and butter pudding with blackberries for the fruit.

It was a bit good too!
