Can't switch Fred's television on.

Last week I said that I had always tuned in the televisions and now I wish I had kept my trap shut.

We used to have Top Up on all three televisions but, because they can't replace the boxes any more. they have given us a good rate on Sky, which I didn't ever want.

At first we only had it on the one set, Fred's, the main one. That is a new, under a year old, flat screen Bush, which has never responded well to it's remote and has always taken it's time to come on.

We now have a Sky box on each television. The two old, deep bodied, jobs upstairs come on no trouble but we can't get the flat screen one to come on. It switches on and can be turned on to the stand-by (?) mode but will not come on properly.

Yesterday I managed to press whatever I had to press in the right sequence and it came on but I don't know what I did and I can't replicate it today.

Can anybody tell me what I need to do,please?

Sharon
Have you got 2 remotes for the tv..?????

If you have then you need to use the one that came with the tv first.

Look for the source/input/av button then press that one
keep pressing it until SKY appears on screen.

Letters that should come up are HDMI for true HD viewing,

OR source/input/av button press once and use the arrow keys on yout tv remote control to move the highlightedbar on-screento HDMI.you may have to press SELECT ot ENTER after this depending on your tv..

Instructions from SKY booklet..

Good LUCK...
