I can find the 1911 census but I cannot see them on the other's.

I was trying 1891 or 1901 for jnr still being with parent's but not having a lot of luck.

Possibly - the 1881 shows Robert Jnr as Robert A, and on 1901 Charles is down as Charles A.

Although the age at death is a bit out for a 1850 birth, how about this for Robert Snr's death?

Brian - you said that a lot of this is guess work. As long as we have the correct marriage for Robert Jnr to Henrietta - you probably know your grandmother's name - then the records back as far as his father's marriage to Martha Etherington fits.

For instance, Robert Jnr's sister Maud Mary Clarke was a witness on his MC. She is shown in the same household as Robert Jnr, and her father Robert Snr in 1891 & 1901 (editted to correct census years).

Robert Snr has consistantly said that he was born in Mildenhall. A marriage to a Martha as shown in 1880 does seem relevant.

If you are in doubt, find the birth reg for one of Robert Snrs children and send for that.

DetEcTive - My grandfather Robert Jnr did marry Henrietta Boulton I did see a Maud Mary on his MC and wondered so this looks as if this is correct many thanks for your input.

My mothers father was William George Burridge b 1877 London,married Eliz McDonnell in Dublin 1900 have these records cannot find when he died.His father was George (labourer)mother was Fanny nee Wells

Did they moved to the mainland?
Did your parents also marry in Eire, or did your mother move to England for work and marry here?
If she had an Irish accent, she was probably brought up in Ireland!
