This might be intersting on this board if we broaden it out beyond any particuloar family.

I have some Messianic Jews in my family. One lady was born into a wealthy Jewish trading family in Mayfair, married a Vicar (the Rector of Morden in Surrey in early 20th century). She had 11 siblings and, I think, six of them remained in the Jewish faith and the rest drifted away or became Christians. And I see no obvious sign of huge tension within that family.

Who was most famous Messanic Jew? I am thinking Disraeli.
