My Grandchildren have Kindles but they prefer to read books. They use the kindle for Free classics of which there are many. I too go between the two. You are right, there is nothing like the feel of a book, but the kindles ease of use and capacity for a whole library of subjects, especially when holidaying or in a waiting room, makes it a must have in my opinion. |

My daughter has bookshelves covering two walls of her lounge. The bottom two shelves are full of her two younger (boys aged 3 & 5) children's books |

I like to read the back of the book to see if I am going to want to read it. Can you do this with a Kindle? |

Yes - that blurb you read on the back of the book, it's on the page for the book, this is how I decide now if I am to order a new book for my Kindle (unless an author who I am already familiar with). So no different from picking up a book and reading the back. |
