I have been following the main speakers, Nick Clegg, Vince Cable, and Danny Alexander, at the Liberal Democrats annual conference being held in in Glasgow this week. It seems we can all sleep soundly in our beds and stop worrying as the economy has been save thanks to them.

They are saying that if you had left it to the Labour Party the economy would never have recovered, If you had left it to the Conservative Party the economy would never have recovered - it was because of the Liberal Democrats that the economy recovered and if you want a sound economy, secure jobs, and to be able to fulfill your ambitions, you must vote for them at the next election,

No doubt we will get more spectacular announcements during the Labour Party Conference next week and even more spectacular announcements during the Conservative Party Conference the week after that.

When I listen to the leading figures of all parties why is it that the phrase - lies, lies, more damned lies and statistics comes to mind.

And to crown it all they keep using the words -Trust Me :-D
