Hands - do you have problems peeling veg?

Son bought a gadget some weeks ago and brought it here today and demonstrated it. It is an electrical peeler - did not cost a lot - he finds it useful for peeling spuds/apples and thick carrots which he cuts in half. All he has tried so far. |

We have a cheese board with three nails knocked through from the back, cut off to about three quarters of an inch and bent in a bit. |
