A great charity event Mauonthecoast - good luck to you family and good luck to all the other runners, I hope it all goes smoothly and lots of money is raised for charity :-)

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

Hello


Well done to all the runners in the Great North Run.

In London, there was the triathlon world championships
with the Brownlee brothers trying to get medals.

The views of London were spectacular, even if it did rain a lot!


Congratulations to all those who take part in both events and
the fantastic, patient crowds supporting them.

Thanks Elizabeth and Liz.....family said weather was perfect, (albeit a bit windy) for running. Kept them cool :-)

and Red Arrows flying over the Tyne Bridge,and our back garden, always a thrilling sight :-D
