Yikes BR!

That one probably choked on all the possums he ate.

:-(

I know when there's a snake around, because the birds all go CRAZY!

My son works in the Philippines and he told us the boss's wife ran screaming downstairs the other day because she'd opened a drawer to take out a t shirt and found two snakes in there.

I wouldn't just have a screaming fit - I think I would need medical attention :-0 :-0

Really can't cope with snakes, luckily in this country it's not too much of a problem!

naaaaaaah, he's cuddly!

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I didn't get out there with a measuring tape!

3 metres was a guestimate........ our table seats 8..... 1 chair at top & bottom end & 3 chairs either side........ at one stage the snake was all the way across the table (the long side), with his tail dangling over the edge, and he was creeping up the back of one of the chairs on the other side!

I went out today, but looked out the window first.... and then checked under the table.

:-D

This video was taken in Qld. We're probably about half an hour drive from there.

:-D

Much rather have a carpet snake than a black or brown! :-D

You can get snake poo from someone that keeps the nasty beasties lol
My BIL keeps them, want me to post you some :-) poo that is, not snakes :-D

Now the weather is starting to warm up they are out and about.
We had one in our pool filter one year, it was just a baby brown, a dead one :-)

He's a carpet snake, he'll bite but he's not venomous.

I don't mind him in the garden, but really don't like it when he comes on the patio & makes himself at home on the table & chairs.

Where do I find snake poo? rofl I can't see myself following snakes around to collect their droppings.

Fake snakes wouldn't be any good, the kookaburras will try to eat them.

Nasty things!

Put some snake poo around your house and a couple of fake toy snakes, hopefully that will deter them.
You can also get some of those solar snake deterrents. You place them randomly around your yard, they look a little like solar lights and make a buzzing sort of noise. They do work, we have them at work in the gardens at an aged care facility...my boss hates snakes!
