Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 8 Sep 2013 14:16

Better than my dads mum who went senile. bless her , She was in a home and every day the staff had to do an identity parade of false teeth cos she went around picking up dentures thinking they were hers. She was a bag lady who never went anywhere without her handbag and several cloth shopping bags.

Unfortunately the bag hoarding developed into a nasty and the staff had to be very careful when they put their hands in cos she was looing and putting it in her shopping bag NASTY

But it was all part of her type of dementia

Years ago, when my children were little, my friend was driving her two girls to a birthday party. One of the girls was holding a large trife, my friends contribution to the party. My friend was distracted and drove into the back of the car in front. The trifle went just about everywhere, over the kids, the car and my friend. I can't imagine what the driver in front thought when he got out to see what had happened.

did everyone line up?

to scoop the trifle out of your bag?

Forty years on, my OH is still remembered as the catering student who dropped the whole salmon during service at a banquet.
