Hello Florence Thank you for reply.. My Grandmother was born 9th December 1875 She married my Grandfather Abel Heapy on 22nd Jan 1898 in Macclesfield Cheshire They had three children my Father being one of them Grandmother had no Brothers or Sisters as far as I know .She was bought up by her own Grandmother. My grandmother's father was unknown on her birth certificate but we found him eventually by looking up bastardy records in the record office. You could give that a try. |

There is no one left from that era I'm afraid Grandmas Mother was Elizabeth Morton.. She was Brought up by her Grandmother Caroline Morton Macclesfield Thank you for your reply Marje.. |

Don't think you have much chance now the only thing I found out about my g/fathers brother who had the same on his b/cert. was that his middle name was Taylor so I suppose his father was someone Taylor and as they came from a small village I suppose I could try and find a male Taylor... Good luck |
