OH is the same Mau - but thank goodness, my wonderful son has no guilt whatsoever.

I am terrified of spiders and they find me - wave their hairy legs at me.

But OMG two weeks ago I had just settled in bed, son had come over and he and OH were watching football.

My flesh still creeps - a movement caught my eye - when 2" from the edge of the duvet heading for my body was a jet black thingy about 3" across.

Managed to roll to other side of bed (I can't shout) but banged my feet on floor.

Son took one look at me and said 'it's a spider' - I am nodding and pointing - I knew there was a good reason I give birth to him - he got him and deaded him!!!!!

It's chilly here tonight could possibly put heating on but put a jumper on instead however forecast says it should be quite sunny tomorrow hope so.
Is that a fact spiders come inside when it's cold, never gave it a thought what about the dreaded Jenny-long-legs.. I Hate them and there's far more this year than last few years and they are inside ugh!

I have been preparing over past 4 months, kept an eye on the Sales, and have bought some 1/2 zip fleece tops plus some polo neck fleece tops to wear under the 1/2 zip tops, some lined thermal cargo walking trousers, some good thick wool walking socks, fleece lined slippers. as I am making sure I will be warmer indoors this winter than I was last winter :-)

At the moment still shorts and t-shirt here in Kent ;-)

spiders have been coming in early again since august, they have been doing it for the last 2 yrs and we had dreadful winters,so stock up now peeps, candles, tin soup camping lamps .start knitting woolly socks, something to cook on if you are electric, turn the heating stat down a bit so you get used to lower temperatures, dont forget matches and extra batteries ,stock up on books ,food for the birds

and most of all
keep an eye on your neighbours elderly or young
heard a 3yr old little lad signing in shop the other day"rocking around the xmas tree"
gets earlier every year.

take care
