Today, 5th September, is our 43rd Wedding anniversary :-D

I remember the day as if it were yesterday. If it were tomorrow I'd cancel it ;-)

Nearly the equivalent of three life sentences, without parole :-( :-D :-D

I do have a weird sense of humour that my OH has put up with for 43 years, very much to her credit. The fact that I am still alive to type this says much for her tolerance!

We have two kids whom I love very much :-D :-D

that's so nice - I too have a weird sense of humour, that's why I like yours so much - life would be pretty dull with no sense of humour - it helps to carry you through the bad times if there are any

We went out last night with the family to celebrate my son's birthday (3rd Sept) and our wedding anniversary today.

OH and myself are now going to have a nice meal at home; meat pie, followed by strawberries and ice-cream
