OK I will tell you for 2 papers and about 4 lines (Not gold plated) it's a whopping ..............£293.35
Sadly I cannot afford to put my brother who died in US a few days ago death in his home-land papers . A typical rip-off I would say!

I reckon it's expensive in many/most places, I was going to put a memoriam into a YKS newspaper paper, (just the one) about 7 yrs ago,it was going to cost around £65 for near enough 3 lines at that time, I did not go ahead with it, goodness knows how much it is today!

In our local paper,people are paying goodness knows what to have huge boxes with photos, long verses or write ups re the deceased person,must cost a fortune to have those inserted into the paper!

I would think about £80/90 at least that is what it would cost on average down here in darkest Hampshire, but up in Scotland who knows, a little tight are the scots, so who knows :-D :-D

This morning was trying to put an obituary notice in Scotsman and local paper thought it would be about £50 for about 4 lines..............Well nearly had a fit when I heard. Can anyone guess what it came to maybe I'm behind the times (well obviously I am) . Am off to make tea so if anyone answers will get back later
