The veteran broadcaster David Jacobs has died aged 87, his career spanned sixty years. He had been ill for a couple of years suffering from cancer and Parkinson's disease. I remember him on Juke Box Jury and still listened to him occasionally on BBC 2 on Sunday evenings RIP. We have lost RIP another gentlemen.

So sad to hear of the death of David Jacobs, I too used to listen to his late Sunday night programme , he had such a wonderful soothing voice and the music he played was very easy listening.

R.I.P David

Oh dear me, yet another broadcaster passed away.... how very sad!

I can remember David Frost on That Was The Week That Was and of course his many excellent interviews with world leaders.

David Jacobs I clearly remember as the popular Juke Box Jury host..... how time flies.

May both David's R.I.P they may be gone, but will be remembered with great affection
