So glad your special day went well Leslie and Aud, and hope you will celebrate many more happy times with your lovely family. Nice to have donations to the National Memorial Aboretum in lieu of gifts as well. Your memories will be the best gift of all. |

Obviously a very special celebration for all your family plus the donations to the National Memorial Arboretum was a brilliant and thoughtful gesture |

Good morning all....Audrey and myself thank you very much to those who sent good wishes for last week...What a fabulous day we had..Eldest daughter was event manager and caterer in chief and other 3 children all did their respective tasks perfectly...The food she put on for dinner was fantastic,,so much so the lady who runs our Harvest Supper in the village has asked Lin and her team if they would do the catering for that..From chef/manager of Oxford Girls High School to outside catering,,there's no holding her back..In.the evening they put on a buffet and the music was a bit for the modern day youngsters but nearly all big band and r&r...From 2 old codgers here in sunny Oxfordshire,,thanks with love...Ps there were no gifts..We asked people to make a donation to the National Memorial Arboretum instead...Very well supported it was.....LES and Little Aud... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 |
