I saw banana boats in Port Said........... they didn't look anything like Billy's boots.

:-D

Thankyou Sharron! I thought it was the People's Palace, but wasn't sure; we went there about 12 years ago.

I saw the banana boots in the People's Palace in Glasgow forty years ago.

I missed it again!!!!!

If you see Billy Connelly on tv and his shows, he says the word Flippin all the time.

I wonder what happened to his Banana Boots?

I think someone probably took exception to the "F" word being used

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 3 Sep 2013 15:49

Well Errol we have heard it all before and you
know before reading any BC material what
it's going to be like.
As far as I'm concerned they should butt out.

One of my family line long ago married the then prop. of Alnwick Castle.
Her hubbie was quite a feisty guy and believed in plenty of room ;-)

If Billy (according to some stores) is showing early signs of dementia, he & Pam may not want to live in a big city, like Sydney, but would want a town big enough to be near the medical support he may need.

I know a lovely small town............ but there are no 12 bedroom mansions.

:-D

OneFootInTheGrave Report 2 Sep 2013 13:10

Me, buy a 12 bedroom mansion - you must be joking, it takes me all my time to afford my sheltered housing studio flat :-(

Billy Connolly has a big heart and and a big wallet, he will no doubt buy a large property in Oz, maybe you can all visit him once he moves in - poor Billy :-D :-D :-D

'Emma' Report 2 Sep 2013 13:04

over his grounds plus you have to give them free drink ;-)
