The woman´s hairstyle looks distinctly 1940s/50s.
I remember my parents looking exactly like that & I wasn´t born until 1945.
Mind you, this was Canada was it?
Maybe they were way ahead of us.

Mau, I thought the photo looks to be 1940s too. Apart from hair and clothes (did men wear singlets pre 1917?) it seems far to casual and intimate for the period.
