I´ll second that Littlelegs.
If I disagree with anything OH says, I get told I need counselling.
Don´t know how he thinks I survived on my own for 20 years with 2 kids to bring up & a stressful job.
Mind you, I sometimes think the job was a walk in the park compared with now.

I left a few months later, that was the last straw :-D

We have stayed friends for the last 12 years, mainly because of the children and he has since cooked me many meals

Merlin.
You have no doubt heard the expression "Your dinner is in the dog".
In this case, it´s in the cat, except that he doesn´t like chips. he´s not that keen on fish either, but any unscheduled meal is a bonus.

Many years ago I was cooking a sunday roast, whole leg of lamb. My 10 year old daughter asked what we were having and I told her. She started whinging saying she wanted Mcdonalds

Just as I was about to dish up, husband said I am taking the girls to Mcdonalds....I dished up mine and threw the rest in the bin....and never cooked them a roast after that...infact I hardly ever cooked them another meal. I left it for him to do

According to my OH.
Tonight we have to go to a meeting & on Friday afternoon we had a reminder for a bill which has to be paid before we go.
banks here close at 2pm & are closed all day Saturday & Sunday.
8 30 am this morning, OH asks if I have paid the bill & got very niggly when I pointed out it would have been impossible, but I intended doing it when I went out at about 10 am..... which I did. I also took a copy of the receipt as requested by OH, put the original with the papers to take to the meeting & filed the copy.
Stupid woman!!
File the original & take the copy to the meeting.
11.30 am. OH asks what time we are having lunch & being told around 1.30, disappears into his "office" to do the lord knows what.
Asks again at 1.15 & is told in about 5 minutes (I am cooking home made fish & chips, which must be apparent)
I go into the dining area 5 minutes later & find him eating a ham sandwich.
But how unreasonable of me to suggest that he could have eaten his lunch first & had a sandwich afterwards if he was still hungry....which would have been highly unlikely.
Why am I so argumentative???
