Using Google Maps,
in the 'get directions' boxes, I entered 20 Cottage Street, Poplar, in the first one and 90 Cottage Street in the second box.
After looking at the map, I chose the satellite image and then 'walked' along Cottage Street.

:-) Google is your best friend :-)

P.S.
This is a good sight for London Blitz http://www.bombsight.org/#17/51.51008/-0.01514

for Cottage Street it takes you to this http://www.bombsight.org/bombs/8706/

this site mentions Cottage PLACE,

/New_to_Old_London_Street_Name_Changes.htm

What date was the Street mentioned? Don't forget that there has been slum clearance and Blitz bombing in Poplar during and after WW2.

It still exists but like much of Poplar all of the older buildings have been demolished.

Can anyone tell me if Cottage Street is still there in Poplar ? There used to be houses there... but probably not there now. Perhaps the streets have different names now ? Is there any old photos of Cottage Street, and other Roads/Streets nearby in Poplar ?
