but so destructive!

You'll find them here ~

:-S http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVXdTFgnpts :-S

EDIT: No you won't!! Read a bit further down, Kense kindly let me know I had posted the wrong link :-D I've left this bit here so that the next few posts don't look daft.

You will find the Rosellas here ~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosella

Our area has the Eastern Rosella.

A flock (mob?) of them were here this morning, making a racket. They landed in a tree next door & stripped the bark off a branch of a tree. Gone, totally bare! They did the same thing last year (to the same tree!), the branch died & eventually fell off.

:-D

I really don't know if DeepPurple & LedZep fly into trees & destroy them :-D

I do think they are beautiful..don't know what sort they are ,but my son lives near the Dandenongs Victoria and we love going there to see them.

My problem with birds is the herring gulls.Living near the coast,I hear them every morning as soon as dawn breaks...and they keep on pooping on my car which can be very destructive.I also have to watch they don't steal the bird food I put out.Even though I have a bird house they seem to be able to reach in.

That link seems to be wrong Scozz, it's Deep Puple, Led Zepelin etc.

However there are lots of youtube bits about Rosellas. Google Rosella Youtube.

They are amazingly beautiful.

<<<< that's not me!

He's eRRol's Scottish cousin :-D

I thought he might know some of the shepherds in my family tree.

So far, the only answer he's given (the sheep, not eRRol) is " BAH! "

:-)
