It certainly is! I wonder why they didn't at least briefly follow through with it seeing as they had the info?
Or did it end up on the cutting room floor?

If you watched this episode last night you will have seen that she was very interested in George Maybury who was fostered by her g/g/grandfather.

Now I am very interested in WW1 and one of the many programmes made over the years has been 'Digging Up The Trenches' and in one of these they found Georges' brothers body and managed to find all about him, his siblings and Barnados and even met the Mayburys' in Canada.

All the info that was supposedly handed over for the WDYTYA programme had already been given to the Canadian Family when they did the WW1 programme.

When watching the show last night I kept thinking that the name George Maybury sounded famiiar and when they produced the photo of the 3 children I knew right away why.

But what a small world!
