Sorted! My brain returned after the plague monkeys left :-D
Retrieved the remotes from where we had hidden them, moved all the breakables back down to normal level and cleared the floor of clutter and toys.

Listen...................................................ah silence....................... bliss ;-)

Managed to get the trees working again, somehow I had loads of duplicates created, held my breath and pushed the delete button and thank goodness the good ones were left!

Yes sorry to be vague, my grandkids are staying for a few days just can’t think straight at the moment!

It happens on pc based 2012 FTM version 21.0.0.723, for example my daughter shows up on her full profile but not on the tree as displayed in “People” however my dad shows up fine on that display. I have now also noticed that the online tree has a problem too, those that have pics showing on the PC just have a logo like two fuzzy boxes like photos with a clock face in the middle.

The trees are linked.


What I have done in the last few days is to load FTM onto my laptop and download the trees from Ancestry to that so I can work with a relation away from my desktop that is also now linked to online, but apart from adding a grandson I have changed nothing.

Last day today soon silence will reign! ;-) :-D :-D

are you talking about Ancestry on line
or a local copy on yr HD held in FTM ?
If it is FTM which version ?

I am finding that on my ancestry/FTM tree when displaying the tree, some people have pictures and others not, when I go into a person the picture is there in the window on the right but does not display in the tree layout.

It's got to be something I have not clicked, but I can't see what. Can someone save me hours of twiddling and tell me where I have gone wrong please?
