Never mind a book, that warrants a sit com if you please Sharron! You really should put pen to paper and tape the sound effects to remind you lol

Bless him, did you ever expect such fun with Fred?

Lol... I don't suppose the calls for more or calls to stop are very different, are they?

But just think, - You can have a few more peaceful moments tomorrow morning secure in the knowledge that he already has plenty of washing to set to work.

........It will all be done by sausage sandwich day, never fear.

Since his stroke Fred does not talk properly, he gets his mucking firds wuddled, but we generally get to work out what he means by a process of deduction.

Last night, having had a leaking catheter again, he had a pair of trousers and his undercrackers in the machine to wash this morning,

He asked me to throw down some more washing to make up a load this morning.

OH had to go out to work early this morning, just as Fred was being got out of bed and dressed but he had to be called back to be told something he didn't have time to work out so Fred shouted up the stairs to me.

Assuming he wanted his washing at once, I threw some down. Bit later he shouted up again. Assuming he had done a load, I chucked a couple of pairs of jeans down, without really looking.

Bit more time elapsed and he was shouting again. there is a limit to what I can make dirty in a week so I threw down the towels.

Thinking I would need o strip the bed if he wanted more, I went downstairs, you need a cup of tea after all that washing gathering!

It wasn't terribly easy because I had to clamber over the enormous heap of dirty washing at the bottom of the stairs.

It turned out that Fred had been shouting up to tell me he had enough washing for this morning so not to throw any down.

It is still down there awaiting the morning. I just hope that woman doesn't cme round selling lifeboats before he does it.
