OneFootInTheGrave Report 12 Aug 2013 14:24

The man involved in a case where his victim was labelled as "predatory" has his sentence increased over a technicality.

Neil Wilson, 41, was handed an eight-month suspended sentence last week in a case which saw his 13-year-old victim described in court as "predatory".

Appearing via video link at Snaresbrook Crown Court in east London, Wilson was handed a 12-month suspended sentence - an increase of four months.

The prosecuting barrister Robert Colover has been suspended from prosecuting sexual offence cases.and the judge is being investigated over his remarks, I think it is maybe time that Judge Peters hung up his wig.

At least The Attorney General is going to review the sentence to establish whether it was unduly lenient, hopefully he will decide it was to lenient and ask the Court of Appeal to impose a custodial sentence to be served in prison - not a suspended one.

When you start seeing 13 year olds described as predatory it's not surprising that so few rape victims see justice.

What is this world coming to when a 13 yr old is the perpeptrator ....just unbelievable as OFTG says time for the Judge to resign or throw out his wig..by the way how old is the Judge should he have retired ages ago I wonder.

And how many lung girls will be scared to cry rape now for fear of being criticised and called predatory ?
