Hi folks new to this but wondering if somebody may be able to help. Looking for my natural father but for years have never been able to find a birth certificate in Scotland. Today for some reason I find myself on here and may have tracked down a brother. This brother died in Glasgow and I am going to check details on his death certificate. However it shows on his birth details he was born in Spain. Looks like the mother was in the military, but why would she have had the baby in Spain in 1944?? The war was still on-bizarre! |

I don't know of any site where you can view a cert., there are several sites where you can find details/ref no. of a birth, and then send for the cert. at the link below - Liz |
