There is a cable from the WiFi router to the Digi box and another HDMI cable from the box to the TV.

Yes you can buy a separate WiFi adaptor for sky box.

You can also connect a laptop to a TV with and MDMI cable and watch anything. Useful if you have different TV's in different rooms. Cables are different lengths and you don't need up market cables either.

I have ord the TV Box and will have to wait and see, its not anything to do with existing Sky Box although brought out by them. This is a new product to enable you to make your existing TV into a Smart TV,so can use Iplayer on TV

Chrome are also bringing one out soon but that is £25 They are both advertised in my todays Liverpool Echo.

I have Sky HD which has catch up...Just been told there is a cable from the router to the sky box

Told you can buy a wireless adaptor for the sky box...my router is only about 12' away

Oh I see ..... Perhaps that would be ok for me then ......coz "I have a tree" - that what I wanted ..the "catchup "

If I ever want to watch catchup TV .. I used my Laptop or IPad ...l

I do have Sky box,this new TV Now is a separet item.I only want to be able to watch the Iplayer and news etc on my TV. instead of of my laptop.

The price is good and reviews look promising.

When I ordered Sky ...with smart TV option ... They sent me a WiFi unit to plug in ..

But when the Sky " engineer" came .. He could not instal dish .... As

" I had a tree " ..... and " too much cabling" ....

So no Sky ......but I do still have Sky box WIFI unit ... If anyone wants it ...

Hi

Just seen the Now TV box advert,£9.99 turns TV into a Smart TV.

Has anyone got one of these.The reason I ask my TV is in a different room to my Wifi Router,do you need to plug the lead into the TV and the Router for it to work.

I am not very clued up
