If you go into the site and read "About us" it tells you what they have. They seem to be adding all sorts of general interest stuff to the basic records.

I haven't actually gone further than the free search page, but if the person you want is listed, then it might be worth paying for full access.

They will NOT have any WW2 army records as these are only available to Next of Kin via Glasgow.

Limited WW1, doubt if any of those records that do survive in full will be on there except possibly the medal records.

I think you will find that the bulk of the stuff they hold is already out there and much of it is free ie the CWGC site for WW1 memorials.

As said you need to look at the site, be very wary of their claims, because I think some others have been burnt by this company already. If you have been searching for any length of time (and you have been on here a while) I think you will know by now what is and is not available, either for free or by paying.

Sorry to sound so cynical, but I am thus.... :-D

Thank you all for your replies...... I had heard mixed revues so was wary... Hence my question...... Yes I have been on here for a while but due to illness over the last 2/3 years have totally lost the thread so am trying to jog the old brainbox which is catagorically refusing to play ball..... No longer have subs to Anc... or FMP either , Which doesn't help....... Perhaps a foray into Anc.. 14 day free trial might be an option...
Thank you again.....
