The full date of birth was not put in the index on deaths until 1969. I also don't think the date of birth will be on the death certificate before this (although I could be wrong about that). |

The date of birth on a death certificate isn't official, it is just the age given by whoever registered the birth - so it can be just guesswork - it's probably approximate as a guide line |
