When I checked into Ancestry early today - there was a message saying they were having tree trouble but hoped to get it sorted soon.

I am with Ancestry and have encountered no problems this week.

Maybe I am going online when all the parents are busy with their kids or out with them.

That is the only problem with all of these sites. During any school holidays' both parents and children have the time to do research during the day....

I say NO to school holidays, make the little consumers learn 52 weeks a year :-D :-D ;-)

As far as I am aware none of those things were included with Platinum, that's why it is cheaper than the full sub on FMP

Click 'Help'
Click 'Contact Us' at top of menu

you'll see this about an inch down :

"I have a query not answered in the FAQs and would like to contact support.
Contact our Support Team for a personal response to your question here."

The words 'Support team' are highlighted in turquoise, click on it and write your message in the box.

Hi there,

George, I believe Ancestry has been crashing all week. I also have a subscription to Find My Past which is also owned by Brightsolid, and they include parish etc. records in their subscription. Their downside is they can't/won't allow GEDCOM uploads, but they have (in my opinion) a better search engine.
Thanks for the info on how to contact GR - how convoluted is that to find it through HELP?

to contact GR .................... look towards the top of your screen. Almost at the very top (just under the ad) is a line of "words"

From the left they read Gifts, Subscribe Pay per View Account Help (your name) (your membership) Sign Out

Can you see that??

Click on HELP

Then click on CONTACT US

Maybe I'm a bit slow to catch up, but when doing a search this morning have just found out that parishes, military and newspaper records are now charged as "extras" where before I had them included in my Platinum membership. Just another way of ripping us off I think.
I would rather have sent this email directly to the GE team instead of posting it, but cannot find a "contact us" link.
Not happy Genes Reunited! :-|
