Hello peeps, Can anyone suggest what i could buy my hubby for our Crystal Anniversary on the 31st Jul. (20 years!)

For me i guess he could buy me a vase, earrings etc but quite stuck for himself.

Really i think he should buy me a medal for still being here lol but through our ups and downs we are still together and some of my friends who married around the same time have long since divorced, sadly.

So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi bobtanian, thanks so much for that website. i found a Massey construction kit, a bit like meccano. Given me an idea for a xmas present. Some lovely gift ideas for others too so thanks again, much appreciated.

Sorry Les about that. Think i must have had a senior moment or something and got all mixed up lol(comes at a certain time of life I think!!) Hubby thinks it's funny as he is 5 years younger than me!I told him wait til you get to 50 and then you'll be wearing glasses, making lists and up for the loo twice a night but he doesnt think he will happen to him hmmm...... we will see(hes got another 3 years to go yet)

We had our silver a couple of years ago, thought about presents, and decided we didn't want or need anything silver!

hahaha Florence. I'm 5+1/2 years older than Himself. I used to say to OH "wait until you get to 50".......... now it's "wait until you get to 60".

Get 'em young and train 'em right :-D

Or....... as Himself says........ get 'em old, they're already trained. ;-)

When my parents had their Silver Wedding Anniversary we bought them a canteen of stainless steel cutlery, they had never had a whole matching set before and they didn't want and we couldn't afford real silver so they were happy with our choice. I have it now.

I am 6yrs and 6 months older than o.h., he's coming up to 60 after Christmas!
