In my experience, a stroke traps the person in a body that won't do what you want it to do anymore. |

Well, if you can be in Chichester this afternoon, if I don't cancel due to the rain, your dreams could come true. |

pmsl Sharron, you just have to write that book, hope you can retrieve all the stories and quips you have written on these boards alone, they would make great reading for stroke patients, carers and even those who don't have a connection with the problem, a best seller for sure! |

Come to think of it, he never used to wash up or do my washing before the stroke. |

I think he is brilliant and good on him for being the same old Fred even with his disability. |

I have always said that having a stroke has only inconvenienced Fred and not turned him into a different person. |
