Well, no, that is the making of the wrapper in Daddies wrapper.

Hence the saying,

"I was in Baghdad before you were in Dads Bag."

We accept that the physical bits, the wrapping, the body rots and goes back to it's basic constituents but it is the essence of the person that is supposed to go on somewhere.

Well, that essence must have come from somewhere musn't it?

My husband died six months after his grandchild was born and my grand mother died six months after my daughter was born. Grandma had been ill a while and told me that she wasn't going anywhere until she had seen my baby

I hope there is something after death, I've got unfinished plans to catch up on :-)

Well many of us have accepted the old saying 'one out, one in' - especially where a death in a family has been followed by a birth within a twelve month or vica versa.

My daughter was born 6 months before my father aged 51 died.

Where did you come from, baby dear?
Out of the everywhere into the here.
Where did you get those eyes so blue?
Out of the sky as I came through.
What makes the light in them sparkle and spin?
Some of the starry spikes left in.
Where did you get that little tear?
I found it waiting when I got here.
What makes your forehead so smooth and high?
A soft hand stroked it as I went by.
What makes your cheek like a warm white rose?
I saw something better than any one knows.
Whence that three cornered smile of bliss?
Three angels gave me at once a kiss.
Where did you get this pearly ear?
God spoke, and it came out to hear.
Where did you get those arms and hands?
Love made itself into bonds and bands.
Feet, whence did you come, you darling things?
From the same box as the cherubs’ wings.
How did they all just come to be you?
God thought about me, and so I grew.
But how did you come to us, you dear?
God thought about you, and so I am here.

We all wonder if there is life after death and what will happen to us but I wonder where we were before conception.
