I don't watch much day time TV, so I did not have to endure over coverage, but I guess the 6.00 news will be full of it.

Hopefully it will die out in a few days.

I am very happy that this little boy has arrived safely and I know he will be loved dearly by his families on both sides. A big baby for such a slim Mum, hope she didn't have too bad a time.

I liked the fact they had time to themselves before the news was announced and hope they can find lots of ways to have privacy with their little one and behave like any other proud Mum and Dad.

I have to be honest and say I got very bored with the tv coverage after a while, and was peeved that Long Lost Family wasn't on.

There will be more on tv today when the 61? gun salute goes off etc and then if they go home today as well.

At least the Queen can go off to Balmoral now and will have seen the little fellow, I wonder if they will have skype so she can watch him develop over the summer.

The announcement has officially been made - congratulations.
But do we really have to endure everyone and his mother speculating?

Even the announcers are finding it difficult - what's the sky got to do with it?

Oh, and Catherine loves her family and where she grew up........

More pictures of the crowd.........

The town crier - again (a repeat) - he's going to collapse in that rig out....

Yet more speculation. suspecting, possibilities and assumptions ....
and repeating themselves ad nauseum....

I am not really interested in the Royals, but will wish them every happiness on the safe arrival of their little boy. I agree with Kay any baby is wonderful news and I believe any little one born safely into the world is a blessing from God <3

No Andrew, you are not.

Can't imagine I will live to see William succeed so I am not ever so riveted to the news of this one.

Look on the bright side Andrew, it will at least stop the Mail etc scraping around in the 'celeb' gutter for a story ;-)

It may however be a long tome ( edit, typo should have been 'time'...but 'tome' may also fit lol) before we get past the , what name, will she breast feed, will they give in and have a nanny, what will the baby wear, will it have a dummy or not...... lol
