wow!!!!

Great sprint as ever at the end of the TdF

Cavendish got bogged down in the middle of the peleton and left it too late - literally by a couple of seconds!

Dermot I couldn't agree more!

A smashing achievement for the man himself & for his country too especially on this 100th tour.

And let's hope he & his team prove to be the antithesis of a few disgraced wayward 'winners' of recent years.

Supercrutch - a true sportsman.

I think the spectators add to it - it is almost like stepping back in time.

I remember reading a book as a child (Le Maillot Jaune) which totally inspired me

Jude - I have only ever raced at local level but still ensure the lycra is properly stretched

My Trek has a name

We watch it every evening. I still cannot get over how some of the idiots lining the route get in the way of the cyclists and actually knock a few off their bikes.

Hubby who was a time trial racer in his late teens, early twenties says his elbows would have been out at 45 degrees!!

Froome would deserve an honour (I'll keep quiet about Murray)

LMAO Rollo

Why do you think I always don the old lycra every time I wheel my Trek out?

In France about 2/3 of the spectators lining the route are women. I can't think why.

A wonderful conclusion to the 100th Tour de France (my sport of choice) and such sportsmanship rarely seen in some other sports.

A true gentleman's sport!

This last stage is always exciting and look out for a fabulous Paris this evening!

Froome is up there with the likes of Murray
