Actor and Comedian Mel Smith has died of a heart attack aged 60 at his home.

How sad. And so young. He was brilliant.

I have to say I was not shocked. His health has appeared to be frail for several years:

Thanks for clip, Rollo. It made me laugh (a rare thing these days :-(). I used to wonder how he and Griff got their heads so close together - have never been that close to OH even. :-) :-)

Think I saw last night that Mel had played part of Dame Margaret Rutherford. I can imagine that - same lugubrio...., lugrub....., legub..... - same sad and droopy face. :-)
