This was years ago. It may eventually have contributed to his stroke, don't know.

Now he is catheterized I can see that he is drinking enough.

Oh dear, Sharron, I am surprised he isn't even more confused lol!

I suppose you have to laugh, cos if you didn't you would cry! It's a good thing he hasn't made himself ill by rationing his liquid intake, hope he will listen to good advice and drink more liquids and you too, especially in this hot weather Sharron.

Some years before he had his stroke Fred was not well. He had a lot of nausea and his skin was very dry but he soldiered on, taking his batty girlfriend out in the car and stopping for a chunder in the hedge.

The doctor didn't know what was wrong so he soldiered on through most of the summer. He assured me he was drinking all he needed to and who was I to argue with an fully grown man.

At midday I put some cleaner in the bog, our only one, and at midnight it was still there. Immediately I assumed that I was not drinking enough and asked Fred how much he was consuming. It boiled down to something like half a cup of tea afrtnight ago last Friday and three teaspoons of water since!

He had been rationing his intake of fluids because.........and wait for this one, you will like it!

Because, if you drink too much in hot weather...........................................it makes you sweat!

As I have said many times before, silly old sod!
