Asthma/COPD/ etc coping with this heat? Hope you are OK. Lots of tips on GHeather's thread for keeping cool.

Me - am spending most of my time on top of bed as each time I wander off downstairs I have huge ankles so I remain with fan and air cooler directed towards me!

Fan stays on all night - even OH wants it on.

I'm staying indoors much cooler in front part of house :-)

you are lucky - we also have 4 windows on gable wall and are sited south/southwest so during sunshine hours, windows shut and curtains drawn.

I'm out in the shade in garden then in the house in out in out ....but I think since we got the cavity walls insulated and loft done it is so hot inside and no air circulating even though windows open ..... got the fan going all day but surviving with asthma just :-D

Nolls - try keeping windows shut and curtains drawn in one room and put a fan in there. Should find a difference.

My OH has mild COPD and is struggling to do much of anything in this heat.

He has the fan aimed at his armchair most of the day too.
