Same as Karen. Life is too short to let yourself become stressed and get involved in stupid arguments.

Peace and Love ;-)

I haven't a clue what the argy bargy is about either. I spend little time on GR these days because I really don't like seeing the bullying and bitching which generally results in two things - some folk being hurt and others proving themselves to be really unpleasant people. I can't imagine what newbies must think!!
When I do visit GR I look for interesting and pleasant threads, avoiding the unsavoury ones as much as I can.
Life is far too short to get embroiled in all the nit-picking and fighting .... in my opinion :-) :-)

I get my windows cleaned outside every 6-8 wks but 2 sec after he leaves this blooming cat jumps right up to the kitchen now he is one of those cats with a squashed face and thick fur which is filthy but a beautiful natured thing except it fights our own cat and is trying to chase it away so if anyone can tell me how to keep windows clean for at least half a day I would be so grateful.
Hayley not particularly meaning today but any time. :-D

I think I missed it too.

GeordieinNorfolk that is a brill idea.

Just one flaw.

Wouldn't the windows start out 27 feet thick?

Mind you, good insulation!

I would like to see windows come with micro thin coatings that you could peel off every time they needed cleaning - clean windows at the flick of a wrist! :-D

HI Lyndi yes good idea that but paid £9 out a couple of weeks ago to get outside done what a waste and anyway we are hounded by our neighbours cat (don't get me started) and sits nearly all day on kitchen window and the window get's filthy starts 2mins after it's been cleaned have a tide mark halfway up I shall cheerfully murder it if it so much as comes near tonight (men have chased it away today) ;-)

Lyndi Report 18 Jul 2013 17:02

Hey Nolls, never thought of that one. New windows so I don't have to clean the old ones :-D ;-) Cleaning them is such a thankless task.

Happy sunbathing folks - stay safe though :-)

GiN - I don't think it's the weather - it's just people ;-)

Geordie I'm sure the weather will have some effect on the board but can't blame it for everything .
Chris with the fan and cooler going it would be a lot cooler in your room than outside have just been out for a bit ,well the ice cream van came so had to rush out before all those pesky kiddies got there first and gobbled them all up :-0 only joking but OH must have his cone most days anyway as I was saying sat out for a bit eating said cone and it has gone much cooler and is really lovely have even managed to talk OH into not needing any meal tonight (I'm rotten I am) and if he wants something then he can do for himself ;-)

It doesn't get much better, does it - I'm steering clear, being a relative newby I know nothing!

Wonder if the hot weather has anything to do with the current unrest? ;-)

I've spent all my time in bedroom today with both fan and air cooler going.

Won't be long in this room although it is little cooler since this morning in here.

Result am happy to have missed uproar. :-)

Jax you are probably right but there's no use newbies getting involved and it would be good if old arguments could be laid aside :-)

I think a lot of people only see what has happened recently on this board...not what has happened on other boards over the last couple of years

~Lynda~ Report 18 Jul 2013 15:26

Good for you Nolls :-D I haven't a clue what half of it is about, but it sure keeps some busy the whole day don't it :-D

I'm in and out of the garden, chopped a tree down today, and hubby has painted the back of the house, and I missed all of the argy bargy, or should I say I avoided it, the days are too precious to sit and moan ain't they :-D
