In Lidl there are some beautiful jars. I want a row of them on my dresser with my jams in them. They are beautiful and larger than a jam jar.

Unfortunately, each jar is filled with big juicy Greek olives.

Whilst we do eat olives, we don't eat many of them. It would take us a long time to eat one jar, never mind the magnificent row I dream of.

Branston pickle jars again this year then!

Sharron you can freeze olives, I've never tried it but friends have, I think they drain them before freezing.

They are great big green olives and look lovely but we don't eat enough of them to warrant buying even one jar.

I don't really know anybody else who eats olives.

The sort of people I mix with would consider them to be foreign muck!
