Mentioned on there just now about the great apes suffering from heart disease

Quote from the Great Ape Heart Project

"Most people know that heart disease kills an astounding number of humans each year. But did you know that it's also the No. 1 killer of orangutans, gorillas and other apes living in captivity?" which implies perhaps it is in the DNA we share with them rather than our modern lifestyle which is often blamed for heart problems?

Sorry to hear that Sheila, I think it is, if not the outright cause, often it's the trigger that sets into motion the ill health. I am trying to follow son's advice "Don't stress so much" lol.
