From Q&A on BBC website on the Royal Mail privatisation:-

The public, as well as big institutional investors, will be able to buy shares. But there will be no mass drive to get the public to buy into Royal Mail, in the way that the sale of British Gas was promoted in the 1980s.

In all, 10% of shares are being kept aside for Royal Mail's 150,000 employees, who will get them for nothing. They will also have first refusal on the shares being made available to the public.

If the sale goes ahead................

Would be interesting to know how many shares one can buy and at what price.

Thinking about it.....................
