You may know about all these things....but you are speaking a foreign language to me

I can turn on lap top and find my way around the internet....downloading all these things are a problem to me

I cannot even scan photos or transfer from phone or camera onto laptop

So just because you know what you are talking about...please don't think everyone else does

I was also given a link that anything other than IE was dodgy

GB I have the same problem everything freezes for quite a while like you can get in from email reasonably well.

Most people's lives on line are made easier faster and less frustrating if they dump Internet Explorer, any version. Those who persist in using it deserve no sympathy for their folly.

Any of this will connect up to FB without hesitation:

Chrome. Opera, Firefox, Pale Moon ( a slimmed down version of Firefox)

and don't cost a button.

Since I changed to IE10 my screen freezes a few times a day,,,,not only FB but here also

Only way out of it is closing all tabs and reopening...which is getting on my nerves now

My computer does not like me using Facebook at all. Most other sites I do not get this problem. Facebook has always been a bit of a problem but the last 2 - 3 weeks has been a nightmare.

If I have a message in my email inbox then I can reply to that.

But trying to login is a major problem.

Starts off okay and get a message at bottom left of screen that mentions a number of images and then says Downloading pictures. Nothing then happens as I wait for the images to decrease in number. Wait for several minutes and then I hit the refresh button. That then produces - Windows Internet Explorer provided by BT Yahoo (Not Responding). Which then freezes everything - all tabs etc.

I can not then close anything down for several minutes.

Sometimes I appear to get on site but if I try to go to the group I am interested in then again everything freezes.

Can I alter any settings on my computer ?

Sorry if I do not respond straightaway as got to go out at 2pm.
