Oh yuk, couldn't do that with bare feet, but then I don't squash spiders anyway, except one the other week that I hadn't seen on the multicoloured carpet. Most of the time I leave them to run across the room and hide under the armchair or something or scoop them in a container with a top slid on and put them outside.

They help keep the flies down anyway and as long as they don't hurt me I try not to hurt them.

Even the one that got into my ear, was scooped out and thrown outside.

Nolls, it was the most horrible feeling, I thought it was a moth fluttering. I had gone outside in the dark and walked through a web. I ran upstairs and woke o.h. to get his help. We tried putting water in my ear and then tried a cotton bud and my eyebrow tweezers and all sorts, then the cotton bud sort of flicked him out onto the table, o.h. scooped him up and threw him outside.

Urggghhhh !
