Mine is Hogarth - however Dame Laura Knight and her very in depth war painting of Ruby Loftus screwing a Breech-Ring is fantastic.

I like most of the Glasgow Boys paintings - favourites are the works of James Nairn and James Guthrie.

I love Hockney and his Yorkshire lanscapes. I have been lucky enough to have seen his exhibition in Saltaire Bradford which is an old vast mill and I must say is a excellent back ground for his work. Two of my fav pictures are called The Road through Sledmore and Garrowby Hill the colours are amazing and the lanscape vast.

I like the Impressionists, Monet in particular. But I also like the paintings of Clive Head. saw some of them in the National gallery, fabulous London scenes that you felt you could walk into. Or even felt you were in them.

Cardiff museum has a large collection of French impressionist paintings - I had no idea until we had some visitors over from USA - felt ashamed when they knew and we didn't

I've a great liking for the paintings of 'Jack' Russell ..........very talented chap.

Have to agree with Ann about 'Night Watch'....could have stood there for hours

I wouldn't say 'no' to a Turner or two!
